You’ll be able to learn all about the traditional paper-manufacturing process and even participate in a workshop where you can handcraft your own sheet of paper. In this specific case, the water flows directly from the natural basin located right in front of the museum.

Anoia, land of castles
Due to its strategic location, the historical heritage of the Anoia region is rich and diverse. Most of its towers and castles date back to the 10th and 11th centuries.

Get to know their role in these campaigns as well as their later development as feudal administration centers.
Modernist Architecture in Igualada
By the late 19th-century and early 20th century, Igualada underwent a period of big economic and cultural emergence, mostly promoted by the bourgeoisie and linked to industrial, textile and leather tanning industries.
The influence of modernism spread through the city, scattering pieces of art in a large number of buildings: residential houses, textile factories, leather tanneries, shops and other emblematic buildings such as the local slaughterhouse, or l’Ateneu Igualadí of the working class, an important theater for the local community.
